I may be challenged in this belief but allow me to present my argument! The male holds the key to the nations—and our nations are currently in a global crisis. As man evolves, so does our families, our communities, and the world.
Definiteness of Purpose Is the Starting Point of All Achievement

The real crisis is, this life is a journey and men seemingly don’t have a clear roadmap of where they’re going anymore. Too often, they start their days feeling that life is meaningless and without reason but that is wrong. Regrettably, the consequences for our families, communities, and nations are widespread.
Our planet’s population was estimated to have reached 7.7 billion people as of April 2019. And every one of them has a reason and a purpose for being here.

That is the precise reason why one of my favorite books is Understanding the Purpose of Man, authored by my mentor, the late Dr. Myles Munroe. He does an awesome job highlighting what is man’s purpose on earth and expands on the 7 Principles of Purpose.
I will briefly discuss those in this article and will also provide a concise overview of the main takeaways from this literary gem. So, if you’ve been struggling to discover and master the mystery of becoming a real man or desire to help the man in your life, give this post your full attention.

What is Purpose?
I believe that purpose is God’s intention for your life. The reasons why He created you, placed you on planet earth, and your fulfilling that purpose is all that matters.
Yet, so many people think they exist for no reason at all. Consequently, they journey through life oblivious of the significance of their existence. This is a big mistake. We’ve all been given a divine assignment, and that is why you are wonderfully unique.
Seven Principles of Purpose
1. God Is A God of Purpose.
God is a purposeful Being. He has a purpose for everything He has ever done. He established His purpose before He created what was needed to fulfill it. What He plans is intentional, meaningful, and guaranteed to succeed.

2. God Created Everything with A Purpose.
God created everything with a purpose in mind, and He also created it with the ability to fulfill its purpose. Everything God has made is the way it is because of why it was created. The why dictates its makeup. The purpose of a thing determines its nature, its design, and its features.

3. Not Every Purpose Is Known to Us Because We Have Lost Our Understanding of God’s Original Intent for Us.
Although everyone and everything on earth has a purpose, this does not mean that we are aware of their purposes. When human beings as a race turned their backs on God and His ways, as we learn about in Genesis 3, they ended up losing their knowledge of God’s intent for themselves and for the world.
Ricardo’s Note: That’s why studying God’s Word is so important. We all have broken God’s Law. James 2:10 declares, “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it” (ESV). God’s Law reveals how all people have sinned against God and are deserving of the fullness of His judgment.
4. Where Purpose Is Not Known, Abuse Is Inevitable.
If males are going to solve their current identity crisis and fulfill their purpose as men, husbands, and fathers, they must rediscover God’s plan for them. Otherwise, they will hurt those around them, even if it’s unintentional.
Ricardo’s Note: Fellas, let’s end the abuse by rediscovering the purpose of man and God’s plan for our lives.
5. To Discover the Purpose of Something, Never Ask the Creation; Ask the Creator.
If you want to know the purpose of something, don’t ask the thing itself. Why? It didn’t plan, design, or build itself. Only the manufacturer knows the why and how of his product; no one else truly does. That is why he can claim a perfect relationship with his product.
Ricardo’s Note: Okay, this is simple. God is not the resource; He’s our Source. God’s not a river, rather He’s the ocean. He’s not the supervisor but the owner. So, regarding the issues of life and the purpose of man – who else are you looking for?
6. We Find Our Purpose Only in The Mind of Our Maker.
If you remember this principle all your life, you’ll be safe: before you buy something, check to see who made it. Right away, you’ll know what was in the mind of the maker. If you buy a shirt on sale at a discount store, and you see the store’s label in the collar, you’ll treat it differently than if you buy a Pierre Cardin shirt. You might toss the discount shirt on a chair, but you’ll put the designer shirt on a hanger in your closet.
Ricardo’s Note: As human beings, we are all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Each person, from the womb to the tomb bears the image of God. As such, we are priceless.
7. God’s Purpose Is the Key to Our Fulfillment.
You can never be totally and completely satisfied until you find your purpose and then live in it. You cannot do what you’re supposed to do until you discover what you are supposed to do. And if you do what you’re not supposed to do, you’re not going to be fulfilled. You’re wasting time. You’re abusing your life. Stop it right now.
Ricardo’s Note: The bible says in the book of Exodus 9:16 “But I have raised you for this purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth”.
Before you were born, He already knew you. He had assigned you a reason to be here, a destiny to fulfill and a purpose for living. You just have to discover it.
Psalm 57:2 says, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” This is key in understanding God’s purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you. However, our choices and actions in the end do matter.
Discovering the Purpose of Man
There are several ways to find your purpose in life. Firstly, look inwardly to appreciate who you are and who you’re destined to become. Doing this soul-searching exercise will help you find the reason you’re here.
This can save you from following the wrong path and making decisions that could only lead to future regrets.
Secondly, is to seek the face of God in your search for purpose. God created you for a reason; therefore, why not go ahead and talk to your Creator right now?
Ask God for guidance and listen. He will always speak to you. Simply listen, be attentive, remain spiritual and follow His every lead.
Thirdly, your purpose is most likely what you’re drawn to or what you’re good at. It’s what gives you joy and a sense of fulfillment when you do it. If you’re naturally good at writing then you most likely may enjoy becoming a blogger.
If you appreciate helping others and bringing joy to their lives, perhaps that is where your purpose lies.
What is God’s Purpose for Man?
The Bible is clear that we were created by God in order to bring Him glory. The ultimate purpose of man (humanity), therefore, is to glorify God (Isaiah 43:7).
We are to know Him and make Him known by glorifying Him with our lives. Though this may sound like a simple explanation, walking out this charge is a bit more involved. So, how do you fulfill your purpose so that you can glorify God?
Fulfilling Your Purpose
Fulfilling your purpose is easy when you align yourself with the will of the Father. Only then can you be driven by the power of vision.
Purpose is the reason why a thing exists. It’s the desired result for a thing and the source of destiny. The intent of God is the will of God. God is pleased when you discover your purpose for life and get busy doing it.
However, God is fully committed to His purpose and is not distracted by your plans. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” ~ Proverbs 19:21
